The Signal Peak Community Foundation is committed to investing in the next generation of leaders and innovators right here in our community. That’s why we’re excited to offer annual scholarships to graduating high school students and current college students.

Three Scholarship Tiers

We award scholarships in three different tiers based on the student’s chosen academic major and field of study:

Funds can be applied to cover tuition, books, lab fees, on-campus housing and other college expenses.

Eligibility for High School Scholarships

To qualify for a Signal Peak Community Foundation Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Graduate from a local high school in Musselshell County or surrounding counties
  • Attend college full-time with 12 or more credit hours
  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA throughout college

Completing the Application

Applying for a scholarship is simple! Just submit the following by March 31st:

  • Application form
  • 1-page resume
  • 2 letters of reference
  • Current academic transcripts
  • 1-2 paragraph essays answering key questions

We review all applications holistically to select deserving recipients each year.

Renewing Your Scholarship

Students who have received a Signal Peak scholarship previously can renew it annually by:

  • Maintaining full-time college enrollment
  • Keeping a cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • Submitting updated transcripts and essays
